Karen Krater & Rich Brandt attended PMPEI (Pa. Municipal Planning Education Institute) courses in zoning & subdivision. Discussed topics covered and areas of our zoning that need updating to current planning standards and uses.
Land Development Plans:
Jim Bridges of CS Davidson Inc. was present regarding DEP Sewage Planning Module for Eagles Peak Campground expansion. Existing sewage treatment plant has 25,000 gal/day capacity. Currently use is about 7,000 + gal/day. Increase in sites is well within the plant capacity.
Review of plans attached noted setbacks to campsites @ 50’ from lot lines which per Section 6.04.m.3 should be 100 Ft. Board had noted this in April 2018 minutes and questioned why still @ 50 Ft.? Board will follow up with LCPD for explanation.
Board granted a conditional approval of the Planning Module subject to resolution of the setback issue. If resolved, the Planning Module will be signed by Planning Commission prior to the Nov. 14th Board of Supervisors meeting.
Draft Heidelberg Township, Lebanon County Comprehensive Plan – cursory review. Reminds us that Millcreek Township Comprehensive Plan should be updated.
