Recreation Board Members present at the meeting- Justin Arndt, Anthony Gettle, Betty Patches, Josh Garrison and Beth Garrison

Meeting called to order at 7:00 by Justin Arndt.
March 2019 Minutes- Motion to approve by Anthony Gettle, and seconded by Justin Arndt.
Treasurer’s Report- Reports for general fund, summer, and soccer accounts provided by Betty Patches. Motion to approve by Anthony Gettle and seconded by Betty Patches.
Black top of Basketball Court- Township decided to table the project. -Update: project is doable. Next township meeting it will be discussed. Rec board will order nets and rims when the paving is completed.
Snack Stand- Waiting for temperature to warm up, so running water will be available to clean building. Justin Arndt will purchase a new cash box. Jenae Ulrich would be able to work Monday, Thursday, and Friday evenings. Hours 5:15 until after 9:00. Rec members will attempt to fill in on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Beth Garrison will purchase supplies at Sharpe Shoppers.
Summer Playground- Facebook survey to gather ideas for afternoon activities. Looking into more evening activities (ex. Firepit family times)
Spring Work Detail- Will happen on a week night when weather accommodates. Checking to see if Fort Zeller Elementary School will be using the facility after their first grade field trip -this event could change the date of the work detail.
Newmanstown Richland Soccer Club- Will look at this closer to the time
Fall Frolic- June we will begin planning. Autumn will head this activity.
Softball– Practice begins April 2nd. There will be 6 teams. Checks will be mailed to Lori for $250 for each team. Every Tuesday will be their games. 6:00 and 7:15 are the games. They will begin the first week in May. (Looking at May 7th to be the first game)

Next Meeting will be held at the Summer Playground pavilion on Monday, May 6th at 7:00.
